NAME
Td 1.0 - ToolsMenu demon
SYNOPSIS
run >nil: <nil: Td CF=CONFIGFILE,HELP/S
DESCRIPTION
Td reads upto five lines from a configfile. The first part of this
line specifies a menu item, the second one a commandline as if you
would type it at the systems shell-prompt. If you select that item
from WBs ToolsMenu the command line is passed to OS 2.0+ system()
call. If you choose Quit Td from the menu, Td quits.
If you want to call Td during boot-up (which is rather useful) you
**must place it after 'loadwb'**
or nothing will happen to your lonely ToolsMenu. That means that
you have to edit s:startup-sequence what tends to be a No-No. So
what? You are an experienced user. Simple and safe way: Put Td's
icon in your wbstartup-drawer.
While running, Td will watch its configfile via dos/notify.
If you edit the configfile, the ToolsMenu will be updated after
saving.
OPTIONS
CF=CONFIGFILE: specifies configfile. Default is s:Td.config
HELP: prints short help message.
BUGS & LIMITATIONS
Currently limited to five items. Eats an awful lot of mem (but
frees all resources). Nobody stops you if you try to run more than
one instance of Td (but this should be safe). WB 2.0+ only :)
